10 Cool LinkedIn Content Ideas For Your Business

If you’re creating content on LinkedIn, you know that coming up with content ideas can sometimes be one of the hardest things ever.

We all have the moments when our mind is half dead and we feel like it’s not working and we can’t come up with any LinkedIn content ideas. And that’s why in this article, I wanted to share with you 10 cool LinkedIn content ideas for your business.

So, are you ready to begin? If so, let’s dive in…

1. Write An Article

One of the most outstanding features of LinkedIn is the ability to share LinkedIn articles. LinkedIn articles are amazing for building authority and trust and they can be written about virtually anything.

So, why not roll up your sleeves, sit on your wheelchair and use this feature to get your message out there?

The articles don’t even have to be long. Use just enough words to get your message across.

Also, you don’t need some special business writing skills. You just need to write the way you talk and be yourself.

Text like that is far more readable and consumable than any formal text you’ve seen ever would be. In the end, we’re all people, right?

The article can be about anything you feel is important. So, share it.

2. Walkie-Talkie

No, I don’t mean a radio, I mean sharing a video where you’re walking and talking. People love these videos when you’re adding value and sharing some advice there.

So, the next time you’re walking down the street, thinking about what type of LinkedIn content to share, I highly suggest you just take your phone and start recording a video.

This is personally one of my favorite formats and I absolutely love it.

3. Industry Meme

Nothing gets more engagement and also lightens up the endless seriousness than a good ol’ industry meme. Get creative and make your audience laugh.

It’s the best thing you can do.

4. Make Infographic

Sharing an infographic is one of the most amazing educational content ideas ever. People love them, they contain a ton of value and they’re quick to consume.

Infographics are my favorite type of content and I share them often. Especially in the B2B industry you’ll fall in love with them as they build trust and make your dream customers feel like “They know what they’re doing.”

5. Make A Poll

This content idea is going to engage your audience as well as going to give you valuable data to make future decisions based on.

Ask your audience a question that you need an answer to and let them pick the option that suits them the best so you get clarity.

6. Tell A Story

There is rarely ever something more powerful to win the hearts of people and also persuade them than storytelling.

We are conditioned to love stories since the moment we’re born.

So, if you can’t come up with any LinkedIn content ideas, try telling a story about something that has happened recently or a story from the past.

7. Behind-The-Scenes

You might not want to share this type of content because of what other people might think. But it’s essential.

That’s because you need to build a strong relationship with your audience to be successful. And the only way you do that is by showing them the side of you or your business others don’t share about themselves because of fear.

We are all people and we are all doing “human” things. So, don’t be afraid to share what you do.

8. Social Proof

If you’re looking to make more sales, then sharing some social proof is a good idea. Yes, the content type doesn’t get much engagement, but it sells.

One thing is saying “What I do is great!” A whole another thing is having somebody else say it about you.

I highly suggest that you shared some social proof at least once in 2 weeks.

9. Promote A Product Or Service

This shouldn’t be done more than 20% of the time (usually even less), but it is key if you want to make sales.

When you’re promoting make sure you sell something that is relevant to your audience and that’s aligned with your content strategy.

Also, the promotional post needs to have the right sales copy in order to persuade people to do what you want.

However, you need to share this type of content as well to actually make money out of your social media.

10. Quote

Quotes that hit hard are a big deal on LinkedIn. It’s better that you make them yourself however, if you quote somebody else, it works as well.

It’s a great type of content and an amazing LinkedIn content idea.
