How To Sell Like Crazy Using Social Media

Social media is a hot topic today but most freelancers and entrepreneurs use it wrong. Attention and followers frankly don’t mean anything.

But, SALES do. Just because you have many followers on social media doesn’t guarantee at all you’re going to make money…

And that’s why in this article, I’m going to show you how you can use your social media to sell like crazy. So, are you ready to begin? If so, let’s dive in.

Build Trust And Relationships

Something extremely important to do with every post that you share is to build relationships and trust. Just think of the last time you bought from a company you didn’t trust, never heard of before, and had no relationships with.

Can’t remember? Me neither.

That’s because we don’t do business with brands we don’t trust and have any relationship with unless your fear of not having the solution is worse than the fear of being scammed.

But in most instances, your dream customer isn’t going to be like that. So, once you turn attention into followers, it is time to start building trust.

There are many ways you can do that but the three major content types that count for trust and relationship building, you want to share are:

  • Personal, Behind-the-Scenes Content
  • Authority-Building Content
  • Social Proof Content

Personal, behind-the-scenes content is the key if you want your audience to relate to you and trust you. So, don’t try to be professional and dive deep into something your followers can relate to as well, the stuff that goes behind the scenes.

That is one of the major trust builders.

Second, you want to share authority-building content that shows you KNOW your game. That means achievements, stories, and also deep educational content.

And last you want to share social proof. If you got your clients and customers results, share their stories. Nothing is more trust-building (and more converting) than a story from somebody who got results besides you.

When you combine these three things and you share all of them on social media, you’re going to see results and sales flowing in like never before.

Sell, But Only 20% Of The Time

If you sell too often, then you are going to lose followers, they will get tired of all the overpromoting and you won’t get results – especially if you try to pitch them in the content and not do “content selling”.

But there is a way to be pitching successfully and actually make your followers buy, a lot.

And that is when you follow the 80/20 content rule. That means, if you want to share promotional content every day, then you must share at least 2-3 normal valuable posts where you add value every day as well.

In other words, 80% of the posts you share are pure value and 20% of the content is pure promotion.

That way, your followers will get used to checking your content, you’re still going to get a lot of attention from the social media algorithms, people will share your content, and you’ll build trust and relationships…

…and you’ll also be actively converting that trust and relationships to money. And that’s the key.

This has been proven over and over again and you want to use this.

Learn How To Sell In DMs

DMs or direct messages are an extremely important place for getting new leads and sales, especially when you’re selling services or high-ticket products. People are going to message you there asking questions about your products and services that you need to answer…

And you can also use DMs to message those who have shown their interest to buy some product or service in the comments of a post, live chat, etc. but didn’t take action.

There is nothing converting more than selling to somebody in person. And that’s why you need to learn how to promote using DMs as well if you want to sell like crazy on social media.

Ok, this is just a quick article for you today 😉 Honestly, I’m a bit sick but I couldn’t leave you without your weekly dose of value. Hope you found this helpful.
