Reach is one of the most important metrics we as social media marketers have to track. Only a few things are more important than the actual number of people that you reach.

You can usually find it in your insights and you must track it every single day in order to make improvements to your strategy when the reach goes down or keep doing more of the stuff that makes your reach go up.

KPI For Social Media Marketing #2 – Follower Growth

I don’t know why, but most people use this as a measuring stick to see which account is better than another.

But you should be considered about it as well as it is one of the KPIs that you need to track. Why?

Because the more followers you have, the more people will see your content every day, and the more sales you will be able to make.

There is no complexity in it, but it is super important to determine your social media success.

KPI For Social Media Marketing #3 – Engagement

Engagement is one of the most important KPIs in social media marketing as it determines whether your content is good or not, how many people have a relationship with you, and the algorithms use it to determine whether you are worthy of more exposure.

In case you don’t know, engagement = any interaction made with your content (likes, comments, shares, saves, etc.)

Generally, the more of it you have, the better off you are going to be. So work on maximizing it every day.

KPI For Social Media Marketing #4 – Website Taps

This is probably going to be the most important KPI for social media marketing for you. It is all about the website traffic.

It has a direct impact on the number of sales that you make, and the more of it you get, the better off you are going to be.

Never forget to track it and do your best to max it out by any means necessary.
