Online marketing is a new phenomenon and there’s no question about why it happened. You can get more of your dream customers for a lower cost than you’d be able to anywhere else.
However, most people still aren’t able to succeed.
Why?
Because they don’t understand how this game works. And that’s why today I’m going to show you a proven formula that works for every business or freelancer again.

Where Are They Congregating?
The first step is to actually find out where are your dream customers congregating.
There are certain keywords in Google that they are searching for, influencers on social media they follow, forums that they have joined, websites that they visit, and so on.
When you find out the places that are flooded with your dream customers, you are going to get more results than you could ever imagine before.
All you have to do is make some time to find out what those places are.
And that is the entire first step. Find where they are congregating so that we can move on to step #2.
How Are You Going To Get In Front Of Them?
This is the step that is going to require a little more of an in-depth explanation.
There are 2 ways to get in front of your dream customers:
- The free way (it costs time)
- The paid way (it costs money)
Let’s take a further look at both of these steps.
Getting In Front Of Your Dream Customers For Free
Virtually the only way to do this is by finding a way to leverage an algorithm of the platform that you are on, collaborate with the influencers, and be creative.
So, the first thing is leveraging the algorithm of the platform that you are on.
My favorite example of this is the explore page on Instagram.

When your posts get on the explore page, the Instagram algorithm is going to expose them to thousands of your dream customers for free with absolutely no effort from you.
But there are certain criteria that you need to meet for getting there, and one of them is super-high engagement on your posts.
On YouTube, the thing that you need to use is their search engine.
When you can optimize your posts for SEO, what you are going to find out is that they will be seen by way more people than ever before.
It is free exposure to your dream customers.
The same comes with blog and Google traffic. And we can move on and on and on.
The second way that you can get in front of your dream customers for FREE is by collaborating with the leading influencers in your industry.
You see, they have already accumulated the audience full of your dream customers that you are trying to eagerly hunt, but the reality is that getting in front of that audience is going to take a longer time.
You have to build relationships with the influencer before you are going to ask them for a favor to let you promote your stuff on their channel or page.
But if you are willing to do that and build relationships consistently every single day, you are going to reach more of your dream customers than you can imagine.
And the last thing is being creative. That means, for example, commenting under other people’s posts to get exposure. It can mean jumping on trends or using the right hashtags. It can be finding a way to get more backlinks for your blog.
And on and on.
The possibilities are endless.
You just have to think about one thing only every single day...“How am I going to expose myself to more of my dream customers?”
That is the only thing that you should think about. However, there is also another way to get in front of your dream customers…
Getting In Front Of Your Dream Customers The Paid Way
There are two basic ways to get in front of your dream customers using the dollars that you have in your pocket:
- Using Advertising
- Influencer Marketing
Both of these things are incredibly effective, and instead of time, you are going to trade money to become successful.
So, let’s take a look at how to use both of these things…
Advertising
Advertising is one of the most powerful ways to get in front of your dream customers.
The problem with that is that most people don’t know how to create great ads and therefore they are not able to make any money with it.
When it comes to creating ads I use a simple formula cold “Hook-Story-Offer.”
I have learned it from Russell Brunson and that is why I am going to show how it looks like on one of his ads.

First, you have to grab your audience’s attention with a hook.
That is usually done with an image, headline, or video.
If your ad is not attention-grabbing, the thing that you are actually doing is throwing money down the toilet funnel.
The second thing that you have to do is to tell a good story.
The term story in this formula means increasing the perceived value of the offer with a copy.
Your entire story can consist of just a few sentences that will make them imagine the desired outcome that they want.
The last part of this formula is the offer.
Your offer has to be as irresistible as possible. That is why I always recommend that you create an offer that is at least 10X more valuable than what you are asking for.
Again, you are going to show it in the copy or in the video.
And that’s it. This is the whole formula for creating ads. How simple, isn’t it?
If you customize it for the platform that you are planning to advertise on, you are going to get some astonishing results.
Influencer Marketing
Influencer marketing is a fantastic way to get the attention of your dream customers online.
And the main benefit is that the people already trust the influencer which increases your chances of getting the desired outcome you want.
One of the most common ways to leverage influencer marketing is by asking the influencer to make a paid video, write a review in their blog, or just make a simple social media post.
But as you can expect, the price is going to increase with the complexity of the promotion. However, it is more than worth it.
All right, now when you know how to get in front of them, we also have to turn that traffic into leads.
Create A Lead Magnet
The key to being successful with attraction marketing online is following up.
And without creating a lead magnet that you are going to use to get the contact information from the dream customer that you have worked so hard to attract.
The key to creating a strong lead magnet is making it so valuable that they would be willing to pay for it.
Here are some examples of lead magnets that act that way:
- Bundles
- Challenges
- Summits
When you create something like that, you are going to get more leads than you can imagine, which is going to end up in you making way more sales.
