You see, most of the tactics you’ve been using to promote your Instagram don’t work. And that is because conventional ways to promote your Instagram are long gone.
Sharing a post to your Facebook or asking your friends to share your account stories is not enough…and that’s meant for ordinary people.
For companies, the impact would be so small that I can’t emphasize it.
However, if you want to promote your Instagram for business effectively, it is absolutely necessary to take a different approach to get massive results.
And that’s why I’m going to show you how to do it effectively and reveal to you how to get the best results.
So, are you ready to begin? If so, let’s dive in…
1. Collaborate With Others

This is something that is often overlooked but collaborating with others or doing something like being a guest on a show is one of the best things that you can do to promote your audience. That’s because you’re going to leverage other people’s audiences.
And before you consider this absolutely impossible, then it is time to understand that the only shows don’t have millions of people watching them like, for example, CNBC.
There are smaller shows as well that you can get on or people with smaller audiences in your industry that you can collaborate with.
All you have to do is to outreach to them and if you have value to bring to the table, they are likely going to say yes…
If you don’t, then they are going to say no…
However, the thing to understand is that you don’t care about the NOs. You only care about the “yes” answers.
So, contact people for so long, that they will want to accept, ad then you are going to promote your Instagram in a way you’d never believe before.
And now, let’s move on to another tip which is to…
2. Ramp Up Your Content Production

If you want to quickly get more attention and promote your Instagram effectively, then it is likely time to ramp up your content production.
In general, the more content you share the more attention you’re going to get…
However, that doesn’t mean you should create more content just for the sake of it. You should do it because it is also going to help your audience.
And therefore a vast majority of your content (at least 80%) should do just that. And that’s why you need to make every post as valuable as possible.
That’s simply because sharing content that adds no value to your target audience is content that will get no attention regardless of how much you share it, how great hashtags you use, or anything else.
Now, how much should you ramp the content production up?
Simply, put try to double it, IF possible. If it is not possible and now you are doing as much as you can because otherwise, you wouldn’t even have time to sleep, leave it the same.
However, if you have time to sleep and creating new content won’t change that, try to double your content production.
It is going to get you more attention and help you promote your Instagram
3. Try Sharing Video Content
Video is working more than well on Instagram because the platform itself promotes it. So, when you are going to use it, then you are likely going to get way more exposure and promote your Instagram more effectively.
Now, what type of video content gets the most attention?
Besides adding some form of value (education, inspiration, or entertainment), you should try to keep the video content short.
That’s because short videos don’t take long to watch, you’ll make way more easily everybody consume them…
…and it’s also EASIER to create them.
Another thing that you must do is to use the right song as videos that use trending songs usually perform better and you must ensure the video is ALWAYS captioned (it has subtitles).
80% of videos on Instagram are played on mute, meaning the sound isn’t turned on. That means if your video has no captions, then 80% of those who see it won’t get the message, and therefore they are just going to scroll by.
You can use apps like CapCut to create captions automatically and for FREE for all of your videos.

“Ok, but does that mean that I should stop sharing image content and switch to video completely?”
NO! It just means that you should add it to your content strategy. If you share image content and it is working for you, fine.
Keep sharing it. Just add some videos as a few separate posts and then you’re going to get awesome results.
It works more than well, so try it out…
4. Cross-Platform Promotion
One of the easiest ways to get more attention and start promoting your Instagram is by doing a cross-platform promotion.
Simply put, if you already have an audience on other social media platform or you run a blog or you have your own podcast…
…then the easiest thing that you can do is to go on that platform and share your Instagram account with your current followers there. It’s a way to get a ton of attention and get amazing results.
Just add a call to action to your current content for people to go and follow you on Instagram, and most importantly show them what is the benefit of doing so.
If you’re not going to tell them WHY they should do it and what’s in it for them, very few will do it. So, keep that in mind while doing the promotion.
And now let’s move on to another amazing tip…
5. Leverage Trends

This is one of the easiest ways to get more attention and it is (almost) always going to work!
That is simply because trends get attention and when you leverage them for yourself, then you are going to get attention as well and you’ll promote your Instagram really well.
The only problem with this is that NOT every trend is even close to being worth it. Simply because when the trend is irrelevant, it is going to hurt your brand, credibility, and get you wrong attention.
Wrong attention is when it is from people that are not your dream customers. That attention is worthless as it is nearly impossible to turn it into money.
So, before leveraging any kind of trend for yourself, ask if the trend that you try to leverage is relevant to your content.
If it’s not, you’re not going to get the right attention and you won’t get the results you want.
