Social media marketing is a part of digital marketing. The only difference is that digital marketing means more than just social media marketing. It also means SEO, Blogging, email marketing, ads, etc.
Social media marketing only is about getting new customers using social media. Digital marketing is about getting them anywhere online, including social media.
So, there is no winner as it is a one-sided fight. Got it?
Alright, instead let’s switch our focus to something far more important, and that is how to win on social media and how to create a winning social media marketing strategy that is going to let you build a huge audience and strong brand online.

Who are the people that they are following? What are the brands they follow and consume content from?
Once you have a list of people (the longer the better), then it’s time to find out how to REACH them.
How can you throw your hook in front of them and grab their attention?
Of course one of the ways is to run ads to their audience, but there are other ways. Some of them include:
- Influencer marketing (sometimes it’s far better than ads because you leverage the influencer’s brand)
- Guest Posting
- Collaborations
- Engaging On Influencer’s Posts
- Engaging Directly With The Influencer’s Audience
- Going Live Together
- And Way More!
There is a ton of options. It just depends on how creative you get and how well it is going to work.
Now, prepare that if you are going to try to get in front of their audience for free, you better have a TON of value to bring to the table.
