This is not a match where there is a winner as there is only one person in the ring since the beginning of it.

Social media marketing is a part of digital marketing. The only difference is that digital marketing means more than just social media marketing. It also means SEO, Blogging, email marketing, ads, etc.

Social media marketing only is about getting new customers using social media. Digital marketing is about getting them anywhere online, including social media.

So, there is no winner as it is a one-sided fight. Got it?

Alright, instead let’s switch our focus to something far more important, and that is how to win on social media and how to create a winning social media marketing strategy that is going to let you build a huge audience and strong brand online.

How To Build A Winning Social Media Marketing Strategy

Winning social media marketing strategy consists of 4 main parts:

  • ATTRACTING new dream customers.
  • NURTURING those dream customers.
  • SELLING those dream customers and turning them into real customers.
  • BUILDING LOYALTY with those customers so that they buy again and again.

When you look at the majority of all social media marketers and people like “Instagram coaches” or “LinkedIn marketers”, etc. they don’t talk about how to make sales nor about how to make people buy again and again.

That is because most of them didn’t make any.

So, I highly suggest you are careful about who you listen to as a side point.

And now let’s dive into how to do all of these four things and create a winning social media marketing strategy that gets you results.

How To ATTRACT Dream Customers

There are only two ways you can attract your dream customers on any social media platform that you must have in your social media marketing strategy:

  • Leveraging Other People’s Audiences
  • Leveraging The Algorithm’s Audience

If you want to leverage other people’s audiences, first you need to ask yourself, where are your dream customers hiding.

Who are the people that they are following? What are the brands they follow and consume content from?

Once you have a list of people (the longer the better), then it’s time to find out how to REACH them.


How can you throw your hook in front of them and grab their attention?

Of course one of the ways is to run ads to their audience, but there are other ways. Some of them include:

  • Influencer marketing (sometimes it’s far better than ads because you leverage the influencer’s brand)
  • Guest Posting
  • Collaborations
  • Engaging On Influencer’s Posts
  • Engaging Directly With The Influencer’s Audience
  • Going Live Together
  • And Way More!

There is a ton of options. It just depends on how creative you get and how well it is going to work.

Now, prepare that if you are going to try to get in front of their audience for free, you better have a TON of value to bring to the table.

And you also better be persistent. There is no question that you will hear “no” a thousand times. There is nothing you will likely be able to do with it unless you stay persistent. Keep contacting people until you hear a “yes.”

  • Find out what performs the best there

  • Test and improve until you get the HIT

When you stay persistent and you keep testing until you get a serious hit, then you will win more attention and sales than you could dream of.
