Define Who Is Your Dream Customer

Before you can even start building your own social media strategy for maximum growth, you need to understand that if it is not all going to be centered around your dream customer, nobody is going to see, like, or act based on your content.

It is absolutely necessary for your strategy to work.

So, how are you going to define who your dream customer is, and how are you going to appeal to what they want?

Well, first ask yourself these questions:

  • What do they dream about?
  • What do they desire?
  • What do they love?
  • What do they fear?
  • What frustrates them?
  • What angers them?
  • What do they hate?
  • What arouses their skepticism?
  • What embarrasses them?
  • What are they most thankful for?
  • What are their sources of shame and guilt?
  • What are their secret self-doubts?
  • What are they proudest of?
  • What makes them happy?

Once you know the answer to these questions, you’re going to DIRECTLY use the answers to create your social media strategy.

Everything you’re going to do will be somehow related to your dream customer.

Neglecting this is one of the worst things that can happen.

And believe me, not getting any results for months despite doing everything you can is not a pleasurable experience.

Create A Content Calendar

Another incredibly important step that you’re going to need to take if you want to create a social media strategy that works and gets a ton of new followers is creating a content calendar.

You want to post the right content, at the right time, EVERY DAY.

A content calendar is basically a calendar where you have all of your posts, stories, videos, etc. scheduled for a certain date.

That means, the caption is ready, the videos or images are ready, and all additional work is ready, you just have to post it.

And the most important thing is that you’re going to schedule the posts strategically.

If your dream customers are engaging the most with your content on Monday at 1 PM, Tuesday at 7 AM, and Wednesday at 4 PM…that’s exactly when the content is going to be scheduled for.

Usually, there is actually a social media content scheduling tool that you can use to automate the posting, but you can’t automate the strategy.

If the posts are not going to be created strategically (80% of posts = value, 20% = promotion, at Monday you’re going to share one promotional post that will be focused on promoting____, plus you’re going to share another 2 valuable posts to compensate for the one promotional post, etc.)

You have to really think this through, then TEST, improve, and repeat.

Post At Least Once Per Day

This is another really important thing.

Posting at least once per day is going to ensure that your dream customers will consistently see you, build relationships with you, and it’s also going to give you the ability to measure what works and what doesn’t effectively.

Another really important reason to do this is that the algorithm will promote you to your dream customers more often, and you’ll get more growth.

So, it’s absolutely essential to do this…regardless if you feel like you don’t have the time or anything else – because you do.

When you exchange Netflix “movie-watch time” for “content-creation time” your growth is going to go through the roof.

It’s another essential part of this social media strategy template and you want to follow it.

Engage With Your Followers

Another extremely important thing that you want to do is to engage with your followers. If you’re not consistently engaging with your followers, you basically show them that you’re not interested in them, and they will have not so great relationship with you.

But if you engage with them, EVERYBODY (including those you didn’t engage with) will see this, and they will feel that you care.

This is one of the most important steps of building a real community and it’s going to explode your growth.

Another way this helps is especially during the beginning when the algorithm doesn’t promote your content that much.

Engaging with a cold audience (people who don’t know you) is a fantastic way to build a following regardless of what social media platform you’re on.

So, add this to your social media strategy, spend the time doing this…and you’re going to get more growth.

Create A Data-Collection System And Improve

Creating a data-collection system is super important in any kind of marketing. If you don’t measure, you’re never going to get the results that you want.

So, if the social media platform that you are on doesn’t allow you to check data, you want to use some tool that is going to help you collect it.

The more data you have, the more you will know what works, what doesn’t, and how to improve.

And once you know this stuff, you want to take DIRECT action and improve. It’s the difference between success and failure of this social media strategy template.
