Top 5 Secrets To Successfully Use Social Media For Business

Social media has become an amazing way to market your business online and get new customers at virtually no cost. But not everybody knows how to do that…

So, what are some of the top secrets to use social media for business and growing your enterprise online?

Well, that’s exactly what I am going to show you in this article. Are you ready to begin? If so, let’s dive in…

1. Live Webinars

If you want to successfully use social media for your business, live webinars are a must – especially if you’re trying to sell high-ticket products or services.

You see, when you do live webinars that are meant to sell your products or services, then you have to deliver value, and sell at the same time.

In other words, you nurture your audience, boost your engagement, and MAX OUT the sales that you make.

Doing webinars is usually possible on almost every social media platform and it’s an awesome way to use social media for business.

If you want to use webinars on social media successfully, then try following these tips.

Have A Moderator

Having a moderator that’s going to manage the chat is in my opinion absolutely essential.

Not only that they’re going to delete spam messages, recommend you questions if you do Q&A, and handle all of the common things themselves.

But they’re also going to be the ones who will help you to share links and handle objections during the selling part.

So if you want to use webinars for your business and sell on social media successfully, it’s really important to have a moderator.

Script The Entire Thing

When you’re trying to sell using a webinar, the only way to get predictable results is by scripting the entire thing out word by word.

If you’re talking to the camera you should display it on the laptop screen or somewhere else. If you do a PowerPoint presentation, you can read it from your phone, etc.

The key here is to get creative.

Stack The Offer

Example of a stack used in a webinar

Creating an “offer stack”, is a technique of stacking the value Of every tangible in the offer and revealing the price at the end so that it looks like a total BARGAIN compared to the value that they’re going to get.

Usually, it is done at the end of the webinar after you break their false beliefs about your new opportunity.

So, always try to do it. It’s really powerful and it’s an awesome way to justify low prices.

2. Collaborate With Influencers

Influencer marketing is a powerful way for your brand to get more exposure and generate a ton of new leads when you use social media for business.

The only problem is, that most brands don’t have a big budget for influencer marketing and even if they do, they don’t know how to pick the right influencers.

That’s why I’m going to show you how to deal with it right away…

Picking The Right Influencers

Picking the right influencers is the key if you want to use influencers for your business on social media.

There are many criteria that you should follow, so, let’s take a look at all of them.

They Must Be Followed By Your Dream Customers – If they’re not followed by your dream customers, no matter how big the exposure is, you’re not going to get a lot of new followers and make sales. That’s because they’re simply not interested in your brand.

Their Following Has To Be Engaged –  If they’re not going to have an engaged following, then the following is not likely going to act based on what the influencer has to say. The more engaged, and the more relationships they have with the influencers, the more successful you’ll be with the campaign.

Their Followers Must Be REAL – What often happens is that the following of the influencers is bought and they’re selling “influencer marketing services”. It’s a scam. Be careful about that. If something is a red flag, don’t do it.

They Must Be Willing To Create The Piece Of Content – There’s only one person who knows the following of the influencer better than anybody else. And that’s the influencer itself. If they will create the post, it will be performing way better.

These are the very basic things that you have to check for and if just one of them doesn’t fit, you’re busted.

How To Do ‘FREE’ Influencer Marketing

Doing FREE influencer marketing is really possible. For example, do you remember the last time when you checked a video on YouTube with two famous business coaches, personalities, etc.?

But the video was only on one channel, right? And that’s what I’m talking about. If you want to get exposure then you go and create a piece of content with an influencer that you want to collaborate with, they share it, and you INSTANTLY get a ton of exposure.

And the best part? It’s free. So, go out and try to collaborate with others on content. It’s super effective when you try to use social media for business.

3. Engage With Your Dream Customers

Social media is called social media for a reason. If you want to use it for business, you have to be SOCIAL.

And one of the best ways to use it is to directly engage with your dream customers. It builds a lot of credibility and trust.

And if you want, you can even use it to do customer service (in fact, you should.)

That’s why you need an effective engagement strategy. If you want, to make it effective, you have to engage with 3 types of audiences…

Cold Audience

This is the audience that doesn’t know you at all.  If you want to grow your following and reach some new people, then this is the audience that you want to engage with.

You can do it in many ways like commenting, reacting to stories, etc.

The more you do it, the more people you’ll reach and the bigger your following is going to be.

It’s absolutely essential if you want to use social media for business.

Warm Audience

This is the audience that follows you, likes your content, but aren’t leads or customers yet.

The simplest way you’re going to engage with them is by responding to comments, DMs, thanking them for shares, etc.

Also, you can engage them using your content. Create quizzes, polls, giveaways, etc. All of these ways are a great way to engage with your audience.

It’s another important thing to build trust and be successful with using social media for business.

Hot Audience

These are your dream customers or current leads. You usually know who these people are and you want to engage with them as well.

That way they’ll want to stick with your brand, they will engage with your content and they will buy more than once.

It’s really important.

And now when you know how to engage with your dream customers, let’s move on to the next secret…

4. Share Valuable Exposure That Builds A Strong Brand And Get Exposure

This is one of the most important parts of using social media for your business…

And even though it might look like a total commonsense, most people create their content wrong. That’s why here’s the best content creation formula that never fails when you want to create your content.

Value

The first part of your content is valuable. No matter what you do, you must add value to your audience.

There are 3 main value pillars that you want to create content based on.

  1. Education
  2. Inspiration
  3. Entertainment

Once you know which one of these pillars you are going to create content based on, then you must ensure that you’re going to make each piece of content unique and as value-packed as possible.

If you’re the one creating it, don’t fall for laziness and do it despite the work required.

Presentation

Every social media platform focuses on different content formats or has its unique features. You must create new content based on that.

For example, if you’re on YouTube, you have to create a kick-ass thumbnail image, make sure the video is greatly edited, etc.

If you’re on Instagram creating carousels, you must make sure you structure the message right and that the design is amazing.

And on and on. The way you’re going to present your content to others is absolutely crucial for you if you want to use social media for your business.

Relevancy

Another super important thing is relevancy. This ties up strongly to the value part as value is subjective.

Only relevant things are truly valuable to you. For example, if you create content about steaks but your audience are vegans, you can imagine the outcome.

Exactly, your effort to use social media for business would go bust as nobody would follow you nor listen to you.

So, always study your audience and make your message relevant.

Once your content is structured based on all of these super important pillars, then you’re going to get more exposure, followers, and customers no matter what social media you’re going to use for your business.

5. Run Social Media Ads

Running social media ads is one of the best ways to get new customers using social media.

Why? Because they’re heavily underpriced.

That means, it’s way easier for you to be profitable with your ads. If you don’t know how to create ads that convert I highly recommend using the hook-story-offer formula.

Hook

The hook story offer ad framework infographic
This infographic says “Instagram AD Framework” but it can be used for ANY AD.

This is the most important part of your ad. Hook is usually the image, headline, first line of the caption, first 3 seconds of a video, etc.

In other words, it’s the thing that you use to grab attention. You must pay especially close attention to this part of an ad. If you fail to grab attention, you’ll instantly fail with the entire campaign.

Story

This is the part of an ad where you’re going to increase the perceived value of the offer. Usually, if your ad doesn’t use a video, it’s going to be very short (sometimes even 1 sentence).

The story part is where you create the most emotion. (E.g. Imagine that you [desired outcome]).

Offer

This is the part of an ad where you’ll tell them what they’re going to get in exchange for clicking on the ad or taking the desired action you want.

Make sure that the offer is irresistible so that it’s harder to say a “no” than a “yes”.

If you’re going to follow this formula, you’re going to get incredible results when using ads for your business on social media.
