Using the Instagram link in the bio the right way is absolutely necessary for your success.
If you’re going to link to the wrong page, you can lose leads and sales hand over fist.
But if you’re going to stick to the best practices that I’m going to show you in this blog post, you’ll get more results than you could wish for.
So, are you ready to begin? If so, let’s dive in…
Use A Link Page
Using a simple link page is an easy way to let people access more than one thing. For example, if you are promoting a lead magnet and a high-ticket offer at the same time, using a link page is the best way to do that.
However, you have to be careful about how you create it.
What most people do wrong is that they add “150” different links there and then they worry why their Instagram link in the bio page doesn’t work.
You must keep it simple and add up to 4 links. If you add more, you risk confusing everybody who is going to visit it, which results in them not taking action and leaving back to Instagram.
It is really dangerous and you want to avoid it.
Another great practice is to make sure it includes your profile pic so that they know they have been redirected to a page that YOU own.
People are super skeptical these days and if they don’t know tools like linktr.ee, and you redirect them there, they will be super worried about what it is.
However, if you include your profile pic there, it will make them feel safer and they will be more likely to click on one of the pages that are there.
It’s that simple.
Once you have created your perfect Instagram link in bio page, all you have to do is to put the link in your Instagram bio and you are going to see results.
Link To The First Page Of A Sales Funnel
This has always been one of the best practices, and it is something that you want to do a lot. There’s one big problem with link pages. And that is that there are more options (which splits the traffic between many pages), and the second, worse problem is that it requires one more click from people.
That means they have to tap once again on another link before they get to the page that you want them to get to.
It is a known marketing fact, that with every click the number of people who proceed further lowers.
For that reason, you want to minimize the number of clicks before they get into your sales funnel, and the only way to take it to an absolute minimum is to link directly to the first page in your sales funnel in your bio.
That way, even a DOUBLE number of people can get into the sales funnel which results in more sales.
However, again, this is only going to work if you want to prioritize one thing above everything else. If not, then you’re most likely going to have to use a link page.
BUT, if you still want to do this, then you can promote additional stuff in your stories using the link sticker. So, you can handle it all.
Try it out, see the results you get apart from the Instagram link in bio page, and if this works better, stick to it.
For More Clicks Add A CTA In Your Bio
Now, even though this is not directly associated with the hyperlink in your bio, adding a simple call to action to the bio itself can absolutely skyrocket your results.
All you have to do is write something like, “Get the Instagram Mastery vault” and add a hand pointing down emoji that will point at the link.
Or you can directly tell them to “Click the link below to______.”
Isn’t that amazing?
Just a simple sentence can sometimes double or even triple the number of taps on the link in your bio from people who visit your profile.
The results are just crazy. To make the call to action more powerful, try adding a power word like “incredible”, “astonishing”, etc.
You’ll love the result.
