I am not only using it for creating Instagram reels but for normal videos as well (and sometimes even video sales letters.)

Inshot
Another amazing tool for creating Instagram reels is Inshot.
It is an absolutely free app for your phone and you can create incredible videos there.
Again, a ton of features is available like adding text, trimming videos, speeding them up, changing the background, adding music, and so on.
Personally, it is not one of my favorites as I like creating videos on desktop, but I don’t want to make it sound any less great than it is.
If you want to create reels on your phone, this is going to be your choice.
Canva
I don’t think that this tool needs any introduction.
Canva has changed the world of graphic design as we know it forever, and now they started to focus more on video as well.
That’s why they have changed their video editor and it is so freaking powerful for creating reels that you want to try it out.
I have used it for creating Instagram content all day long, since the beginning of my time on Instagram…but the video editor has blown me away.
And yes, it is completely free so you want to give it a shot too.
Kapwing
Kapwing is one of the most powerful online video editors that I have ever seen.
Not only that you can easily use it in teams, but it can be used to edit everything – video sales letters, short movies, reels, YouTube videos, and the list goes on and on.
And yes, you can use it completely free.
I was blown away when I saw it for the first time, and I was even more blown away when I started using it.
Definitely, a tool you want to try for creating your Instagram reels.
Instagram Itself
Probably one of the best reel editors is hidden in the Instagram app itself.
Shockingly, it is absolutely free to use, and you can do everything you need with it.
However, it can’t be even closely compared with the previous video editing tools that I have shared with you, so it is always better to prepare the video in them and if needed make the final touches on Instagram.
And because you’ll have no other choice but to try it out, I am not going to encourage you to do so.
