If you want to grow somewhere organically and acquire new customers at no expense, social media is the best way to do it.

You can start from scratch and work your way towards 100K, 200K, 500K followers with nothing.

And how many new customers would you get from 500K followers? More than you could ever imagine, right?

And that is definitely more than worth it, isn’t it?

Of course, every social media platform has a different cost of ads and a different way to advertise.

You should choose the platform that you are going to use based on two factors.

  1. Your Target Audience
  2. Your Brand + Budget

First, if your target audience is on LinkedIn, they like LinkedIn content, and they are all business owners…you are not going to go on Instagram to advertise to them, right?

You will go to the place where they are congregating the most so that you can target them and make them buy.

Also, you have to know what are their needs and wants to be able to create an ad that is going to be attractive and generate click-throughs.

The second factor that matters the most is your brand and your budget. If your brand is all in with videos, you are not going to advertise on Twitter, will you?

Instead, you are going to choose YouTube or more recently, Instagram.

Also, you are going to choose based on how much money are you willing to spend on results.

All right, if you know these two things, what you want to do is to create an overlap.

If your audience is in that place, and it fits your brand + budget, you should go for it.

5. Following-Up

Yes, you don’t have to follow up only through email. You can also do it through social media.

When somebody leaves your sales page deciding not to buy, but they still follow you on social media, can you make them buy?

Sure you can!

You just have to create a promotional post about the product or service and your dream customers are going to see it, with some of them running towards gunfire to buy your product or service.
